Kelly and James got engaged in June and knew they wanted to get married as soon as possible­ so Kelly being an organizational wizard, planned an elegant, intimate, fall wedding in less than three months y’all! Three months. I thought it was lucky when she called me, because September 29th was the last date I had available in the fall.

Adam planned a backyard wedding like no other. That's right, the groom planned 99.9 percent of their wedding and it brought me pure joy seeing the proud groom during the day of the wedding.

Rachel and Ryan are getting married at a WHALING MUSEUM next year which might possibly be the coolest thing ever, and very fitting for this Cape Cod couple­. Yes, that is correct…a Whaling Museum. So before the chilly fall weather set in, we wanted to run around on one of their favorite New Bedford beaches for their Cape Cod engagement session.

When brainstorming with Theresa and Kyle, they said they wanted to go somewhere that had the feel of Maine for a summertime warm coastal engagement session…without the six hour drive. So we went to Halibut Point State Park in Gloucester­. This was my first time to this state park and fell in love at first sight. Just like love should be.­

Bethany, David and I froze our butts off back in April for their beach Cape Code engagement session so I was pretty dang excited to be photographing their wedding at The Aldrich Mansion when it was warmer with an overcast day (i.e. perfect light) but not overly hot.
