I left my job working on a popular cooking show in 2016 and turned my photography side hustle into a full-time career. While I loved working in TV production, I longed for a job that was more meaningful, human-centered, and emotion-driven.

The first time I shot a wedding the lightbulb went off—this is what I should have been doing all along. My personality is a hyper specific Venn Diagram of managing timelines with military-like precision, while also feeling all the fuzzy feels that let me get along with anyone, calm down a room, and keep everyone in the moment. I knew I was made for this kind of emotional and sentimental work. I can feel it in my bones.

Flash forward and now I’ve dedicated the better part of a decade to documenting weddings and elopements, nearly 200 of them. I’ve incorporated film, polaroids, and Super8 to marry (pardon the pun) documentary and editorial photography together for couples who want natural and timeless imagery that feels authentic to them.

In that time I also met my husband Brian, also a photographer, who I was lucky enough to bring on as my second shooter when he’s not busy working with non-profits and humanitarian effors. We got married in January 2023 and rent a little green house in Southeast Portland with our two kitties, Maisie and Penny. It has a swing on the front porch and an apple tree in the backyard.
