Lindsey + Drew's Lincoln City Engagement Session
Lindsey and Drew’s Lincoln City engagement session was filled with smiles and a little adventure! Their love story is sweet, slow and grew overtime, like a good whiskey. But it all started at a kettle bell class and bloomed into a love-of-a-lifetime complete with their pup, Abraham. Lindsey and Drew wanted to include their fur baby for some shots, which I always adore. We started on the beach and got to run around, tiring him out and capturing his playful personality and their little family of three. Pro-tip: plan an activity with your pup to start and let a friend pick them up, so you can have some distraction free couple time too!
The Oregon coast has so much to offer and I love getting to take advantage of it all.
From forests to beaches and unbelievable views, this state of ours really has it all! When planning for two locations, I tell my couples to start with something they’d wear on a Saturday morning and then change into what they’d wear on a Saturday night. That’s just what these two did. We started on the beach in hiking clothes for a casual feel which also allowed us to hike God’s Thumb trail for epic ocean views and all the green! The hike up allowed us to get to know each other some more and chat about their wedding plans until we reached the top.
God’s Thumb is pretty much how I imagine Ireland would look, rolling hills of breezy grass paired with the beach below.
It was a stunning spot for Lindsey and Drew to snuggle up in a cozy blanket, take in the views and take shot or two! They brought along some whiskey and beer as a nod to their competitive vacation shotguns and love for a good shot of whiskey!
