Kathy and Harold's Woodsy Engagement Session | Boston Wedding Photographer

Kathy and Harold began talking with me about their engagement session last winter. We talked about waiting until spring, when it was going to be warm outside! Because the end of April HAS to be warm right?! Of course the second you think you can count on New England's weather, you're wrong. It was in the 40's with the constant threat of rain, but you'd never know that looking at Kathy and Harold. Their glow is infectious, and we had the best time running around the Lynn Woods Reservation together!

This was my first time out to Lynn Woods, but I already can't wait to be back. Even though the leaves hadn't quite grown back on the trees yet, the woods are filled with evergreen pine trees, and the pine needles that covered the trails added such a warmth to the woods and their photos. It helped that the trees blocked the cold wind too! After wandering about a mile into the reservation, we made our way back to the entrance to explore the rose garden. There weren't any roses yet, but we did discover a grove of redwood trees that made me feel like we had stumbled our way into Northern California. It was such a surprise, and possibly my favorite part of their woodsy engagement session.

Kathy and Harold, I love the way you make each other laugh. I love the way you look out for each other, and how you whisper jokes into each other's ears. Chilly winds and all, I had the best time exploring the woods with you and am so excited to see what this next season of life has in store!
