Katie and Ron Beacon Hill and Emerald Necklace Engagement Session | Boston Wedding Photographer
I immediately bonded with Katie when I saw the 804 area code in her phone number; Katie also grew up in Richmond! Small world! Katie met Ron on a trip he had taken to visit friends in Richmond, and fast forward a few years, you find us all in Boston hanging out at Tip Tap Room in Beacon Hill waiting out the rain and laughing about first date stories. While it poured for an hour, the radar said it was going to clear, so we waited it out with one (or a few) beers. If you’ve been following along with the blog, grabbing a drink before photos is kind of my thing. I’m not a regular photographer, I’m a cool photographer.
We wandered around the upper part of Beacon Hill taking photos, having a blast as we worked our way down to Tatte to grab coffees to warm our hands! For Phase two we took an Uber down to the Emerald Necklace by Fenway to grab some engagement photos among the iconic fall foliage. Everyone thinks peak foliage is mid October in Boston, but I swear every year it’s actually the first few days of November. The Emerald Necklace was definitely showing off for us!
Katie and Ron, I loved soaking in the New England fall with you. From local beers and Beacon Hill’s classic brick sidewalks, to cozy blankets and hot coffee, leaf fights that rival my childhood and covered bridges, every minute with you two was an adventure. I can’t wait for you two to tie the knot in Maine in 2019!!
