When Joanna of Twig + Briar hits you up for some creative time, you say YES. Jo is one of my favorite floral artists in the Boston area specializing in intimate weddings and elopements. She has the uncanny ability to arrange bouquets that are wild, delicate, and bold all at once.

As we discussed what we were hoping to accomplish, all of the following words came rushing out: moody, dramatic, bold, fall, autumn, artful florals, fall bride, dark, warm. Oh man did we deliver. I knew the perfect location for this would be The Middlesex Fells with a model that Jo knew, Alyssa, the nude feline.

I met Jo at the Sheepfold dog park early on a Monday, and as we made our way to and from the reservoir, we picked a few spots that would work well for fall rustic wedding inspiration.­ I am so grateful for this quiet fall morning with fellow creatives!
