Cabalka Family Session in Washington

Shooting the Cabalka’s family session in Washington along the Columbia River Gorge was as dreamy as it seems! This family is like a cozy sweater on a Sunday morning sipping your favorite coffee on a front porch in the countryside somewhere. Seriously! Their littler girls Wilder and Marigold should probably just be professional models with how stinkin’ adorable they are! Mom and dad brought serious styling game with their complimenting outfits in shades of neutrals with seasonal pops that blended together seamlessly, without being matchy-matchy. I love this for a timeless and cohesive look that doesn’t get dated too quickly and keeps your photos looking fresh. Also shout out to neutrals going with any household décor for prints! All around, this family session was MAGIC!

We found the most beautiful and ethereal light along the Columbia River Gorge in Klickicat, WA roaming through golden fields, taking in the scenic views and letting the kiddos (and pup) explore the beauty that is the Pacific Northwest. From snacking on apples to riding on dad’s shoulders, we had the best time bringing out all the giggles, snuggles and bright eyed smiles! I’m so glad we got to spend time together capturing this precious moment in time for their family. Shortly after, they moved away to Michigan, making it even more special that we got to showcase Washington and document their first home as a family of 4 together. 

 Marigold was born during the lock down that was 2020, making it even more special to get photos of them all out and about as a family unit. Wilder is already such an amazing big sis and they love each other so much - they were the sweetest sisters! These four radiate warmth and joy and you can just feel their love for one another. Their family session was so much fun, it was truly such an honor documenting this time in their life!
