Morgan and Dave's Wollaston Beach Family Session | Boston Family Photographer

There's an underrated beauty to foggy mornings, especially at the beach. Sure, everyone wishes for a sunny beach day, but there's something quiet about fog that makes normal places feel like a world of their own. That's how I felt this Saturday morning in mid-September with Morgan, Dave, and their 7-month-old daughter, Avery, at Wollaston Beach in Quincy. We could have been on Nantucket as far as I was concerned, we had the whole beach to ourselves as the sun began to rise.

Morgan and Dave have a special place in my heart. Last winter I had the chance to take maternity photos for them, and when Avery came into the world, I filled in for Morgan to serve as the Children's Ministry team lead at Reality Boston. After everything she's done for the children and families at our church, it was a treat to serve in her stead, especially knowing she was spending that special newborn time with Avery that goes by far too fast.

Morgan and Dave, I am so thankful that God brought you two (and now Avery) into my life. Your lights shine so bright, in the rare way that makes everything else around you illuminated. Thank you for letting me step into your life and document these precious moments with Avery before she grows up right in front of us. All my love and more to you.
