Snowy Family Photos at Trillium Lake Trail

There’s something so magical about snowy sessions on Mount Hood. At the start of the year, this family brought the sweetest vintage sled to tow their daughter along the trail to Trillium Lake. We didn’t go the full two-mile snowshoe hike, but even exploring the first stretch gave us plenty of snowy forest magic. Their pup was thrilled to be part of the adventure, and we had a blast shaking snow from the trees and laughing together. Handwarmers were our secret weapon—I always recommend tucking them into pockets, shoes, or gloves to stay cozy in the cold. A snowy day made extra fun with family, fur, and sled rides.
