Studio Maternity Photos at Hope Light Studio

Portland winters can be pretty rainy, so a photo studio is always a great option if you’re worried about the weather. For Alexis and Stuart’s maternity session, we chose Hope Light Studio—one of my favorites for its beautiful natural light, modern furniture, and greenery.

Since they were waiting to find out the sex of their baby, we styled their session with soft, neutral tones of green and white. We mixed classic poses with creative touches: silhouettes by the window, playful use of stools and levels, and even some experiments with flowers, blurry motion, and film. A cozy and artful way to capture such an exciting season.
