Amber + Coleman's Wedding at Oaks Pioneer Church

Now I won’t be the first to say all the postponements of 2020 were a good thing, however, it did mean more time to work with my incredible 2020 couples! Amber and Coleman are one of my amazing Covid couples and honestly working with them for a whole other year was super special. It was amazing to finally see it all come together! Amber worked so hard to come up with the perfect color palette for her wedding at Oaks Pioneer Church and let me tell you, she nailed it! They changed up their color scheme a few times, but I was so obsessed with what they ended up with. Rich burgundy reds, burnt oranges and the most beautiful soft greens came together incredibly!

Amber’s bouquet was a total showstopper, and her wedding dress was stunning.

I just adore when brides choose to add their own personal touches to their wedding day attire, and Amber did just that! She added a bell sleeve detail to her wedding dress which was adorable and to die for. There were so many beautiful personal touches Amber and Coleman made to their day and it made it all the more special.

Amber and Coleman selected Oaks Pioneer Church as the venue for their ceremony.

This is truly the most picturesque little chapel in all the PNW! It has the sweetest outdoor setting surrounded by lush green grounds and rose gardens. The beautiful white steeple really stands out against the green; almost like out of a fairytale! The inside of the chapel gives off a modern/mid-century feel. The chapel features beautiful, cozy wood that is absolutely made for photos! I didn’t want to stop shooting at this gorgeous venue, luckily their bridal party was so much fun and down to take allllll the photos. We had a blast!

After the ceremony we made our way to The Baker Building for the reception.

The Baker Building is a simple industrial canvas that Amber and Coleman made their own. They designed their head table themselves by combining a mixture of florals, candles, and wood… it was stunning! Now… for the best part? Two words: TACO BAR!!! Yup, that’s right, they had a taco bar at cocktail hour, and I couldn’t have loved it more. What could be better than grabbing some chips, guac and a good drink? What a way to celebrate?

Emotional toasts and speeches were given and the smiles were radiant around the room.

It was obvious that there was so much love for Amber and Coleman and everyone was so happy! The highlight of it all though was the fact that once it got started, the party seriously didn’t stop. Everyone had an absolute blast on the dance floor and I mean everyone! It didn't matter how old, each and every guest was out there at one point dancing their butts off and it was so much fun to see.

Sparkler send offs are a never-ending hit at weddings β€” understandably because they’re GORGEOUS β€” but Amber and Coleman wanted to do something a little more true to themselves. They lit a couple of sparklers, just the two of them, at the end of the night. It was such a sweet and fun moment that made for some amazing photos. I adore the time I have spent getting to know Amber and Coleman and I just am thrilled that they finally tied the knot! After a whole additional year of waiting and changes they finally had the day of their dreams.
