Kristine + Dan's Waterfall Engagement Session in Mt Hood, Oregon

Kristine and Dan’s Columbia River Gorge waterfall engagement session was all sorts of fun! We headed to Latourell Falls and Government Cove Peninsula to showcase and soak in the Pacific Northwest beauty that we all love so much! Kristine and Dan are so easy going and care free, completely trusting me to direct them to magical spots in the woods. I absolutely love exploring new and favorite spots for sessions and getting to share them with my couples. After meeting Dan online and starting out long distance, Kristine relocated to Oregon and the rest is history. They describe their relationship as honest, and I couldn’t love that any more!

On the day that Dan popped the question, they visited Latourell Falls, so we made it a point to re-visit and take in the cascades for a sentimental backdrop.

Pro-tip: Bring a change of clothes and towels for waterfall sessions! The waterfall is soooo windy and chilly when you get close to it. No matter how warm out it is, the glacier water drops the temps and can make it a chilly, albeit breathtaking experience.

With smiles on their face the entire time, I was so excited to show them around Government Cove Peninsula for sunset. They had never been before but the light at dusk is something special. They were so on board for the whole experience of the day--loved exploring and just enjoyed everything! What was most important to them was capturing this special time in their lives together and the excitement and happiness they were feeling.

I couldn’t be more thrilled Kristine and Dan chose me to capture their gorgeous waterfall engagement session!
