Lauren and Andy's Maysara Winery Wedding with Warn Blush Tones and Classic Touches

Lauren and Andy's summer wedding at the picturesque Maysara Winery in Oregon was a celebration of love, family, and friends. Lauren is actually the sister of one of my previous brides, so being able to document another huge milestone for their family was an absolute honor. Plus being able to see all the familiar faces again was a blast! From capturing the essence of their love story on digital, film, and polaroids to filming their special day on Super8 film, every detail of their wedding was a testament to their unique bond and timeless romance.

One of the standout features of Lauren and Andy's wedding was our use of multiple mediums to capture their love story. From the crisp clarity of digital photography to the nostalgic charm of film and polaroids, every frame encapsulated the beauty and emotion of their day.

A standout feature of Lauren and Andy's wedding was the decision to capture their special day on Super8 film. For those unfamiliar, Super8 film is a vintage motion picture film format that rose to prominence in the 1960s and 1970s. Known for its distinctive grainy texture, warm tones, and nostalgic feel, Super8 film adds a timeless charm to any footage it captures.

Unlike digital or traditional video, Super8 film evokes a sense of nostalgia, transporting viewers back in time to experience the magic of the moment in a way that feels authentic and timeless. From the soft hues of a sunset to the subtle nuances of a loving glance, Super8 film has a unique ability to capture the essence of a moment with unparalleled beauty and depth.

By choosing Super8 film to document their wedding day, Lauren and Andy embraced nostalgia and added an extra layer of vintage charm to their celebration. Every frame captured on Super8 film becomes a treasured memory, preserved for years to come, and serving as a timeless reminder of the love and joy shared on their special day.

Against the backdrop of Maysara Winery's scenic beauty, Lauren and Andy exchanged vows in a ceremony filled with love and laughter officiated by the bride’s grandfather. The classic car they rented for their getaway served as the perfect focal point for stunning sunset portraits, capturing the essence of their romance against the breathtaking Oregon landscape. The warm tones of the spacious barrel room provided a romantic ambiance, beautifully complemented by the blush and rust floral accents, creating an atmosphere of timeless elegance.

Behind the scenes, Kayloe Bridal meticulously planned every detail of the wedding, ensuring that Lauren and Andy's vision came to life seamlessly. From coordinating vendors to overseeing logistics, their expertise was instrumental in creating a day that surpassed all expectations. Day-of coordination from Weddings By Elise ensured that every moment unfolded flawlessly, allowing the couple to relax and enjoy every precious moment of their special day.

As a documentary style photographer, it was an honor to document their journey and preserve the beauty of their love story and legacy for generations to come.
