Bridget and Todd's Early Summer Garden Party Wedding at the Laurelhurst Club

Today, I’m thrilled to whisk you away to the enchanting early summer wedding of Bridget and Todd, where whimsy and romance collided in the heart of Portland's Laurelhurst Park. Get ready to be swept off your feet as we dive into this dreamy garden party affair, complete with personalized details, breathtaking portraits, and oodles of love—all captured through my lens of documentary-style wedding photography. Let's dive in, shall we?

Picture a balmy June afternoon in Portland, where Bridget and Todd's wedding dreams came to fruition amidst the serene beauty of the Laurelhurst Club. This wasn't just any wedding, dear friends. No, this was an elevated garden soiree bursting with charm, laughter, and more than a touch of whimsy.

First things first, let's talk fashion! Bridget was an absolute vision in a gown straight out of a storybook—a modern masterpiece with a floral twist, courtesy of A and Bé Bridal shop. And let's not forget her fabulous bridesmaids! Embracing one of my favorite trends, each lovely lady rocked her own unique dress, showcasing hues of blue and green with a delightful floral flair. Talk about bridal party perfection!

Of course, no wedding would be complete without a fabulous coordinator, and lucky for Bridget and Todd, they had the brilliant Hillary Lowe of Kayloe Bridal at the helm. With her impeccable eye for detail and unwavering expertise, Hillary ensured that every moment of their day flowed effortlessly, allowing the happy couple to bask in the joy of their love story.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, we stole away to take some truly magical portraits amidst the lush surroundings of Laurelhurst Park. As a documentary-style wedding photographer, this couple and wedding were a perfect fit for me. There were unlimited opportunities to capture everything from stolen glances to heartfelt embraces, and I loved documenting each candid moment with authenticity and grace.

Now, let's talk about those personal touches! From unique table numbers adorned with photo strips to the whimsical presence of Pip's mobile donut truck (who needs cake when you have donuts?), Bridget and Todd infused their celebration with personality and charm, creating a day that was uniquely theirs.

I was also thrilled to be able to incorporate my hybrid digital and film photography for these two and their guests. With a blend of digital, film, and even a sprinkle of Polaroid magic, Bridget and Todd's wedding day was a photographer's dream come true. Each image captured the essence of their love story, preserving those precious moments for eternity.

And there you have it, dear readers! Bridget and Todd's wedding was a true garden party extravaganza—a celebration of love, laughter, and happily ever afters in the heart of Portland's Laurelhurst Park.
