Cloyne and Nick's Romantic Engagement Session at Cannon Beach with Super8 Film

Hey there, lovebirds! Get ready to embark on a coastal romance like no other with Cloyne and Nick from earlier in the spring. It was a picture perfect misty day in the PNW, and we loved the soft light the overcast clouds set over Cannon Beach for us. We lucked out on missing the rain, but still brought some blankets and warm layers to wrap up in!

They also brought their dog along for photos, which I always recommend for pet owners. With enough treats we can always get them to have fun on camera! Cloyne and Nick also brought their cribbage board, because that’s something they love playing together when they travel or are hanging out at the beach or winery, and I loved this personal touch that they’ll be able to look back on.

I was also SO happy that Cloyne and Nick really cared about incorporating film photography into their engagement session, so let's talk more about it! There's something truly magical about capturing your love story on film. Each frame feels timeless, capturing the genuine emotions and intimate moments just as they are. Modern digital cameras can do so much, but there’s something special about the original medium that you just can’t beat. Plus the film negatives are the perfect memento for a photo book or memory box.

But why stop at stills when you can add a touch of cinematic flair? Enter Super8 film – the epitome of old-school romance. Imagine the joy of reliving your special moments in motion, with the sound of the ocean or your favorite song providing the perfect soundtrack to your love story.

And let's not forget about Polaroids and even more vintage-inspired charm. These instant snapshots capture the spontaneity of your engagement session, giving you tangible keepsakes to cherish for years to come.

If this resonates with you, fill out my inquiry form and let's create some magic together at Cannon Beach! With film photography, Super8 film, Polaroids, and your adorable pup by your side, your engagement session is sure to be an unforgettable adventure.
