Lindsey and Drew's Glamorous Downtown Portland Wedding

Lindsey and Drew are absolute STARS. They brought their winter downtown Portland wedding to life in the most iconic and glamorous way. Their reception was full of black accents, bold lettering, as well as wood, steel, and iron accents and was held at The Redd on Salmon Street — occasionally called the Redd East Event Center. It’s a stunning space! Think giant warehouse meets vintage industrial. There are some dreamy wood beams and iron notes accenting the space. It was industrial but felt like we were ‘bringing the forest inside” with all the natural touches!

Everything about Lindsey and Drew’s wedding day was planned around their aesthetic. Lindsey got ready at the Woodlark Hotel and the groom got ready at the Ace Hotel – both gorgeous getting ready spaces! As Lindsey got dolled up for her day I couldn’t help but admire her gorgeous Hollywood curls, classic makeup, and timeless wedding gown. She looked stunning! A long cathedral veil draped delicately behind her pulling the entire look together. Drew was handsome in a classic black suit and tie paired with a dark gray vest. Together they looked like they deserved the cover of Vogue!

Lindsey and Drew are big nature fans but they chose a very modern downtown wedding venue.

So, in order to bring a touch of nature into their downtown Portland wedding day they held their first look at Forest Park along a trail they adore. We were beyond lucky with the lighting at that moment too! The golden glow highlighted the lovers as they embraced and admired one another moments before the ceremony. Seeing the way these two look at each other reminds me of how important love is! They are just so obsessed with each other, it is the sweetest thing.

After one dreamy first look we headed back into the city for their ceremony that was equally as iconic as the two of them. A breathtaking floral installation hung against the modern windows and natural light filled the warehouse. Guests sat in sleek black chairs that worked perfectly with the industrial steel touches. The dark theme of their wedding worked magically as they incorporated the deep touches through linens, napkins, and more! Luxurious taper candles and perfectly designed floral set the scene in their exceptionally romantic reception space. The ambient lighting provided the perfect tone and everyone enjoyed toasting to the newlyweds.

Lindsey and Drew were EPIC. They had a late night pizza courtesy of Sizzle Pie and took advantage of the low light for some vintage-looking direct flash photos. It is such a big trend right now and they are the epitome of why! Lindsey changed from her gorgeous gown into a short party dress and she and her groom shotgunned white claws and hit the dance floor. To add to the fun Lindsey and Drew opted for some film photos as well! We had a blast capturing moments here and there with the film camera and I’m so obsessed with the way they turned out! One of Lindsey’s favorite things about photos is the way they capture a moment in time. For me, I feel like these film scans do just that. Everything about their downtown Portland wedding was memorable and it was clear that they had the time of their lives.
