Hannah and Austin's Dreamy Mount Hood National Forest Engagement Session | Oregon Wedding Photographer

Hannah and Austin have moved mountains together. Hannah works as a travel nurse, and while she’s been to many states, it’s here in Oregon where her and Austin spent most of their time together as an engaged couple. We had to delay our session again and again because of Covid restrictions, so when we were finally able to get together and celebrate safely we had the BEST. TIME. EVER. I met them at the coziest little airbnb on the mountain, and then took them to some of my favorite spots that are quite literally on the side of the road, since trails were still closed. They totally trusted me and didn’t mind a thing, as long as they were together they were good to go.

I am so thankful for being to explore my little home here on Mount Hood. While we couldn’t explore my favorite trails, everything about this mountain is magic to me and I have a mental catalog of my favorite trees, ferns, and fields of wildflowers. You don’t need a popular tourist spot or a trending instagram tag location—you just need each other. And maybe some champagne :)

We really got this session in under the wire, as these two were moving to the midwest for Hannah’s next job placement. I am SO glad that we were able to celebrate their engagement FINALLY, and speak for all of Oregon when I say we love you two and hope that you move back someday!!
