Hannah and Justin's Coastal Engagement Session | Oregon Wedding Photographer

Hannah first reached out to me more than 6 months before their engagement session. Not only was it incredibly flattering, but it gave us a chance to bond over her owning her own small business — littlest fish designs — and makes the most stunning jewelry. Over time I got acquainted with her, Justin and their sweet pup, Maple Bacon Pancake, over Instagram while we planned their dream coastal engagement session.

After 9 years together we all wanted it to be perfect!!

Hannah and Justin welcomed me to actually stay with them for a few days on the coast and as soon as we were together it was like we were old friends, making breakfast and bingeing Netflix. With our time together, we were already that comfortable, making their engagement session a blast.

After an outfit change and playing with Maple in the waters along the coast, they arranged for a friend to pick up their pup. If at all possible, I would recommend as we can focus a bit more on just you and your first love. Keeping a pup around is like keeping a toddler around, gotta keep your eyes on them constantly.

We drank beer, played Hozier and Brandi Carlile while dancing on the beach, splashing through the waves and digging our toes into the sand. We all jumped in the water for blue hour portraits. Hannah and Justin in swimsuits, showing off their hot bods and me in jeans because your girl forgot her shorts. You would never even know the water was freezing! Hands down, worth it!
