Moody PNW Elopement Inspiration with a Cabin on Mount Hood | Oregon Wedding Photographer

You might remember Heather and Kelsey from their Oregon coast engagement session this past February, where we ran around Hug Point and Cape Oswald together. We started a real friendship that day, so of course there’s no one else that came to mind when I was planning this moody and dramatic Mount Hood elopement inspiration. A and Be Bridal Shop in the Alberta Arts District jumped on board to lend a dress for Kelsey, and Heather and I got to work on her own earthy wedding wardrobe.

While Heather and Kelsey aren’t tying the knot for real until next, the emotions this day were raw, real, and romantic as hell. Their first look still brought us to tears, and we popped champagne and danced in the forest like it was the real deal. After a few shots at our cabin, we wandered down the road and took the jeep up to my favorite overlook on highway 26, just before Government Camp.

I love these two to death, and am so grateful for Jonalyn and the A and Be team for helping this vision come to life. If you’re looking for Pacific Northwest fog and trees, Mount Hood is your place and I’m your girl.
