Amalie and Conner's Mt. View Orchard Engagement Session | Oregon Wedding Photographer

When we started talking about Oregon engagement session spots, Amalie and Conner knew that they wanted Mount Hood in the background. Since these two live in Portland and love looking towards the mountain on a clear day (who doesn’t?!) why not adventure up a little closer to the mountain and focus on that view for our background?

Also, wine.

These two chose Mt. View Orchards for the view it’s named after, and also because they have apple orchards, pear orchards, and recently opened up a tasting room for The Grateful Vineyard. We rolled up on a sunny Sunday afternoon this fall, snuggled up in our cozy sweaters, grabbed a picnic blanket, and enjoyed some rose together before setting out to explore the grounds.

And we had a freaking BLAST. I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again— photos with me are FUN and active. We run, we skip, we tackle each other, we have tickle fights, we have shouting contests, we play games. I want you to de-stress, put your phones away, and just have great afternoon together!! Amalie and Conner were so on board, and it shows in the photos y’all. These two are playful, silly, laid back, and have so much fun together. I’m so glad we got to know each other, bond over our shared music tastes, and create some magical little memories together before their Portland wedding next year!
