Emma and Conrad's Colorful Portland Winery Wedding at Cooper's Hall

Today, I’m diving into Emma and Conrad’s colorful fall wedding! Get ready to be swept away by the magical atmosphere of their celebration at Cooper's Hall, a winery venue here in Portland that exudes modern charm with its greenhouse ambiance, open air atmosphere with tons of natural light, and signature wall of wine barrels stealing the spotlight.

Emma's bridal style was a nod to timeless beauty, embracing vintage allure with her stunning off-the-shoulder wedding dress paired with a long, ethereal pearl veil. She even nodded to her mother’s wedding dress by using some of the dress fabric to tie a ribbon around her bridal clutch. It was a perfect match for my film photography, which highlighted all of these vintage touches even more.

And who says you have to follow the rules of traditional wedding receptions? Emma and Conrad dared to be different by opting for a reception without assigned seating or formal dinner service. Instead, they treated their guests to a delightful array of passed appetizers all night long, encouraging mingling and creating an atmosphere of relaxed intimacy.

Forget the traditional cake cuttingβ€”Emma and Conrad took a sweet spin on dessert by serving up delicious pies for their guests to enjoy. The pie cutting ceremony was a delightful twist, and let's not forget the colorful glasses passed out on the dance floor, adding an extra dose of fun and vibrancy to the festivities. It turns out 2023 was the year of dance floor props, and I’m hoping it’s a wedding touch that’s here to stay!

Their wedding is a shining example that there are no set rules when it comes to planning your big day. Whether it's skipping assigned seating or swapping out cake for pie, Emma and Conrad proved that embracing your unique style and personalities is the key to creating a celebration that truly reflects your love story

Emma and Conrad's wedding at Cooper's Hall was a testament to love, individuality, and the joy of breaking free from tradition. It's a celebration that will be remembered for years to come, inspiring couples to infuse their weddings with personality and flair. Cheers to the happy couple, and here's to love, laughter, and happily ever after!
