Kelsey and Andy’s Lush Oregon Coast Wedding in Neskowin
Neskowin's serene beaches, with their gentle waves and stunning sunsets, set the stage for a ceremony that felt both timeless and unforgettable. Planned with meticulous detail by the talented Hillary Lowe of Kayloe Bridal, their special day was a harmonious blend of romance, elegance, and natural beauty. Kelsey and Andy chose to exchange their vows right on the beach, surrounded by close family and friends. The atmosphere was both relaxed and enchanting, a true reflection of their love story.
The ceremony space was adorned with lush florals by Brier and Ivy, transforming the beach into a blush toned floral wonderland. The blooms added a touch of softness and color to the natural beauty of the coastline, perfectly complementing the ocean's hues. The floral arrangements were thoughtfully designed to create a romantic and ethereal setting, making the moment Kelsey and Andy said "I do" even more magical.
Kelsey looked radiant in her Aleena Leena Bridal gown from A and Be Dress Shop in Portland. The dress was a masterpiece of delicate lace and flowing fabric, voluminous sleeves, and a romantic silhouette perfectly capturing Kelsey's graceful and sophisticated style. As she walked down the sandy aisle (barefoot!) her dress moved effortlessly with the breeze, adding an extra layer of enchantment to the already picturesque scene. Andy and the groomsmen stunned in blue suits and bow ties, while the bridesmaids wore soft, champagne toned satin.
After the heartfelt ceremony, the celebration continued right after the ceremony with a champagne tower on the beach. This fun and festive feature brought smiles and laughter, as champagne bubbles added a touch of sparkle to the joyous occasion. It was a perfect way to kick off the evening's festivities! Speeches were given immediately after the champagne toast, ensuring everyone felt included in the heartfelt toasts and stories. Friends and family shared their favorite memories and well-wishes, creating an intimate and communal atmosphere filled with laughter, tears, and love.
As with any outdoor event, Mother Nature had her own plans. Just before the ceremony, a sudden downpour soaked the beautifully set table on the deck. Without missing a beat, Kelsey and Andy, along with their family and wedding party, adapted to the unexpected change directed by their expert planner and coordinator, Hillary. They moved their dinner indoors to their Airbnb, transforming the space into a cozy and intimate dining area.
Despite the rain, there was no disappointment. Instead, the couple and their guests embraced the change with smiles and laughter, happy to go with the flow. The impromptu indoor dinner turned out to be a charming and warm gathering, where everyone could relax and enjoy the delicious food in a comfortable setting. This flexibility and positive attitude truly highlighted the couple's easygoing nature and the love that surrounded them.
To capture the essence of their special day, Kelsey and Andy opted for a mix of nostalgic and modern photography techniques. Their wedding was documented on 35mm film, 120mm film, Polaroids, and Super8 film, alongside digital photos. This blend added a timeless and artistic quality to their memories.
The grain and texture of the film photography brought out the raw emotion and natural beauty of the day, while Polaroids provided instant, tangible keepsakes. The Super8 film, with its vintage charm, captured the movement and joy of the celebration in a way that felt both authentic and cinematic.
Kelsey and Andy's wedding in Neskowin was a true celebration of love, beautifully planned by Hillary Lowe of Kayloe Bridal and brought to life with the help of talented vendors like Brier and Ivy. From the stunning beach ceremony to the champagne tower, heartfelt speeches, the unexpected yet delightful pivot due to rain, and the unique blend of photography techniques, every detail was thoughtfully crafted to create an unforgettable experience.
This intimate wedding on the Oregon Coast was not just a celebration of Kelsey and Andy's love, but also a testament to the beauty of sharing such a significant moment with those who matter most.
