Theresa and Kyle’s romantic greenhouse wedding at The Lyman estate left me speechless. But that’s bound to happen when a poet and writer tie the knot, right? Theresa, Kyle and I first bonded on a snowy morning last year when we only had an inkling of the adventures to come. We ran through the snow, and later after one of the last summer sunsets. And by the time their October wedding day came, I felt like I was joining in the celebration of two very close friends.

We started the morning getting ready in their home, which already made the day that much more personal. Tara of Tada Style (I always squeal when I get to work with Tara!) gave Theresa a glowing, natural look with whimsical flowers woven in her hair. After getting dressed Theresa and Kyle chose to do their first look coming out the front doors of their house, which gave me the opportunity to take a few portraits of them together without seeing each other! We strolled around their neighborhood before heading off the to the Lyman Estate Greenhouses which were the perfect balmy, retreat on this chilly October day. Guests bundled up in blankets for their poetic sunset ceremony, and Theresa rocked the most baller thrifted leather jacket. Another one of my favorite details throughout the day were the flowers provided by Bloominous and arranged by the bride herself!

Theresa and Kyle, I can’t tell you how much it meant to me to sit a table with your closest friends during dinner where we could just gush over how much we all love the two of you. Your day was filled with love and family and art and poetry, and it was so clear to anyone who looked on how hard the two of your have worked to cultivate those values in your relationship. It’s been such a blessing to document this sweet season for you two and your families, and I can’t WAIT to see what the next season has in store for you. Thank you for inviting me to play a small part in it all!
