HOW DO WE GET OUR PHOTOS?

All final, hi-res, edited photos are delivered in a Pinterest-style online gallery where you can download your un-watermarked images, order prints, and share with friends and family. The gallery stays online for six months, so you’ll want to download and back up your images onto multiple devices before it goes offline. Think of the gallery less like a library, and more like an access point to move your images off the cloud. Wedding coverage also includes a custom wooden USB drive.

WHEN DO WE GET OUR PHOTOS?

Portrait sessions receive 3-5 sneak peek images within one week, and the final gallery delivered within 30 days. Weddings include a sneak peek gallery delivered one week after the wedding, with the final gallery delivered within six weeks. You can pay a rush fee if you’d like to receive your images sooner.

BUT WE’RE SUUUUUPER AWKARD IN FRONT OF A CAMERA…

Hey babes, I got you. No one here is a professional model, I promise. We’re all just humans trying our best, and that’s totally enough. There’s so much that goes into my portrait photography other than clicking buttons on the camera— head on over to my experience page to see what tricks I have up my sleeve!

CAN MY UNCLE WITH A GIANT CAMERA COME? HE’S A PRO.

He can totally snap pics at the reception, but I *~ strongly ~* encourage a camera- and phone-free ceremony. I can tell you disaster stories over a cocktail sometime of getting knocked over by an overzealous grandpa who decided his life depended on getting a pic of the first kiss, but mostly I want your guests to be present and enjoy the ceremony. The second their camera or phone is out, they’ve stopped experiencing the moment, and have taken a photo that they’ll likely never use again. It’s my job to photograph the ceremony for you, it’s your guests job to experience the ceremony with you.

DO YOU TRAVEL?

I traveled a LOT at the beginning of my career. And as magical as it was, now I’m focusing on growing roots and deeply investing in my local community. I shoot weddings in Oregon and Washington, and may take on one or two destination weddings a year, but plan to stay local otherwise.

Do we need a second shooter?

Portrait sessions? No. Weddings and elopements? Yes! Having a second shooter is the best way to make sure I deliver you the most complete gallery possible. While I’m highly visible throughout your day from organizing group photos, directing your family and bridal party, consulting with your coordinator and DJ etc. a second shooter can be the fly on the wall and get the truly candid moments while everyone is busy having a great time. A second shooter also helps me load film, switch cameras, swap batteries, move gear, and other tasks that take up soooo much more time when I’m by myself. I want my time to be focused 100% on you!

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO WE GET?

This varies every session and every wedding depending on the size, the number of locations, outfit changes, etc. I cull the images after every wedding and session, eliminating the photos you wouldn’t want anyways— eyes closed, sneezing, out of focus, duplicates, etc. After that, weddings average 75-80 final photos per hour of shooting, and engagement sessions average 50-60 final photos per hour of shooting.

WHAT ABOUT PRINTS OR ALBUMS?

You can order prints and albums directly through the online shop attached to your final gallery! Album design is included in my wedding services, and all orders are fulfilled by trusted vendors that will print your images true-to-color and on paper that will last.
