New Year’s Eve Elopement Inspiration Shoot at Coopers Hall
What all started with a dream of a champagne tower, bloomed into an incredible jubilant styled shoot with Hillary of Kayloe Bridal! I worked with Hillary from Kayloe Bridal in the Fall and we had THE BEST TIME EVER! I told her that I had always wanted to photograph a champagne tower (and you know, see one in real life) because they’re obviously the best thing ever of course! But with Hillary, if you share an idea, she’s going to make it happen! The angel that she is designed, styled, and coordinated one heck of an editorial New Year’s Eve Elopement inspiration shoot at Coopers Hall! Big shout out and major love to Hillary for making this one come to life!
Coopers Hall is an urban winery with a greenhouse meets warehouse vibe. It’s super cozy, green, and full of life. With its approachable modern feel, the space is so easy to customize to your unique style for weddings and events. 10/10 recommend – I’m even a member of their wine club because it’s that dang good!!
To play on the New Year’s Eve celebratory theme, we used all things joyous and playful! From hand-drawn calligraphy on a vinyl record and mini champagne bottles to a bridal corsage and funky groom’s jacket – this shoot is just downright happy! A hint of vintage glam was the perfect contrast to modern space, complete with a first dance to Elvis on vinyl. Our sweet as can be and absolutely beautiful real-life couple, Amy and Miguel, answered my model call on Instagram. They were relocating to Spain in December and wanted a super fun way to celebrate their time in Portland together. I loved that we could celebrate the closing of one chapter and the beginning of a whole new adventure with them! So, if you have it, pop some champagne and celebrate with us!
