It all started when Alissa asked Mark for a piece of paper in chemistry class. Little did he know, she was just being a dutiful wing woman for her friend. But as they say, the rest is history.

We set out on a Thursday evening to my favorite spot in Massachusetts, Singing Beach in Manchester-by-the-Sea. After driving cross country from Phoenix, Arizona to begin their lives together outside of Boston, I wanted to show these two the best New England has to offer. The evening ended in what I can only describe as the most fun I have ever had on a portrait session ever. Like, ever y'all. Alissa brought holi (powdered paint, the kind used in color runs) for a paint fight. My camera (and my face) came home slightly fuchsia, but it was all worth it.
