Lindsey and Brian’s engagement session is about to give you all the feels! These two lovebirds have spent countless weekends road-tripping across the Pacific Northwest, chasing sunrises on their favorite hiking trails. So when it came time for their engagement photos, we knew we had to capture that adventurous spirit.

And what better place to do that than the Columbia River Gorge?

We kicked off the session at Government Cove, a hidden gem tucked along the Columbia River. Early spring in the PNW meant misty skies and overcast vibes, which only made the landscape that much more magical. The soft blues and greens of the water and lush greenery surrounding us were on full display, creating the dreamiest backdrop for Lindsey and Brian’s love story. With sweeping views of the river, we explored rocky outcrops, windswept grass, and those epic cliffside views. Lindsey and Brian couldn’t stop smiling—and neither could I. Their chemistry and sense of adventure was everything, making every shot feel so natural and fun!

After wrapping up at Government Cove, we made our way to Horsetail Falls, one of the Gorge’s most iconic spots. There’s just something about waterfalls that adds so much magic to a photo session, and Horsetail Falls didn’t disappoint. The mist from the waterfall mixed with the tall trees, creating this ethereal, moody glow around Lindsey and Brian. It felt like we were in a secret, enchanted corner of the Gorge, just the three of us surrounded by nature’s beauty. Lindsey and Brian’s love for each other—and for the PNW—was so palpable throughout the entire session. They wanted this shoot to reflect the adventures they love, and I think we captured exactly that.

The film brought out those rich, timeless tones of the Pacific Northwest, while the Polaroids added that dreamy, nostalgic vibe. Each medium has its own magic, and together, they helped tell Lindsey and Brian’s story in a way that feels personal and unforgettable.
