Kaly and Neil's Adventurous Elopement with Sweeping Views of Mt Hood | Oregon Wedding Photographer

Timing is everything, especially when you’re eloping in a public place, especially during a pandemic. Kaly and Neil and I honestly couldn’t have planned their ceremony any more perfectly. Our sunrise hike meant that this glowing mountain was our background, but more importantly, we didn’t see another hiker until we were trekking back down. I know not everyone is a morning person like me, but it really is one of the best options. Plus you get to brunch afterwards, take a nap, and still have a *whole* day to celebrate. Which is exactly what these two did. After tying the knot in an intimate ceremony with their families, they gathered again in the evening at a Mt Hood campground to drink rosé, eat burrito bowls made by the brides sister, and dance to The Avett Brothers under the string lights.

There are so many more words I could write about Kaly and Neil’s sunrise elopement on Mt Hood, but I don’t know where to start, so I’ll simply quote the bride, “The aisle was a trail, my bouquet was a hillside of wildflowers, and my dress was filthy by the end, and it could not have felt more like us.”
