Jacky and Jesse’s Downtown Boston Engagement Session | Boston Wedding Photographer
Jacky and Jesse are from Toronto, met in ISRAEL during medical school and are pursuing their dreams in Boston (Jacky) and Pittsburgh (Jesse). While they will be getting married back home in Canada, they wanted to capture their time in Boston so we went from Beacon Hill to the Charles River for their downtown Boston engagement session. Thankfully, we were lucky enough to find the one day in October when all of our schedules magically overlapped!!
We met at my favorite coffee spot in Beacon Hill, Tatte Bakery, to sit on the steps soaking in the sunshine of the last warm day of fall. I seriously loved wandering Beacon Hill with them, then the public gardens, ending at the esplanade for sunset. Sometimes taking photos downtown can be a little nerve wracking since there are so many people around, but Jacky and Jesse only had eyes for each other and were enjoying every minute together.
They found out a few weeks after I delivered their engagement photos that Jesse got placed at a position in Boston, and will be joining Jacky here soon before their wedding! I am so grateful that I got to capture this season for them before the whirlwind of holidays, moving, and wedding planning takes over. You never know what direction life will take you, and it’s an honor to freeze special moments in time like this for people like Jacky and Jesse. I wish you both all the love, luck, and adventure as you take on this exciting year in your lives!
