You guys, Grace and Kevin flew all the way from San Francisco!!! Kevin’s family lives in New England, and since they’re getting married on the west coast, they thought it would be great to incorporate Boston for their engagement photos and I could not agree more.
I got to show off all of my favorite Boston spots, starting off in Beacon Hill at one of my favorite pubs, The 21st Amendment. It’s a classic Boston spot, so cozy, lots of a dark wood, and great selection of beers. A lot of people jokingly ask me if they should have a drink or do a shot before their photos to loosen up, but the honest answer is yes! Let’s also be a bit honest and say that no one looks good in drunk photos, but let’s have a drink together to chat, catch up, and work your nerves out. I promise to take you to cool spots around town. We then explored my favorite neighborhood, Beacon Hill (I did spend three years living there). From there we jumped into a Lyft — which Grace and Kevin met in a Lyft, it was fate! — to Faneuil Hall and Quincy Market for a not so hidden photography gem, the roof of the Hard Rock Cafe parking garage. I’m not joking! It has a killer view of the state street buildings, clock tower, and a glimpse of the harbor buildings too. To round out our time together, we headed to the BU bridge which has an amazing skyline view of the Prudential Center and the Back Bay skyline. It can’t be beat! And if it can, hit me up I need to know about it!
Grace and Kevin you guys are FUN, like really fun. Being with you, I could see that you care so deeply about each other, and are so excited to explore the world together for the rest of your lives. Thank you for allowing me to show you all around Boston and please switch coasts so we can do this all of the time!
